A TARKA holiday class is a very popular option for childcare in the school holidays.
TARKA is a developmental exercise company that specialises in getting young children to love exercise from an early age. Rather than just getting children to run around and burn off steam, they get children to use their brains, work in teams and begin to understand what it is to be ‘emotionally intelligent’. TARKA runs classes for children starting from 18 months old all the way up to 8 years old. As well as their term time classes, they offer 4-hour holiday classes throughout all of the holidays where their primary focus is on getting children moving and being active!
There are three locations across London to choose from.

Since 2013, Rock and Roll Recruits has been running four-day music courses, operating every school holiday.
The courses offer an authentic experience of playing in a band along with promoting accelerated learning, building confidence and inspiring the children to play music at all ability levels, with catering for all instruments.
As the week progresses, they work towards performing a concert held publicly. This provides the perfect end to the week’s effort – family and friends will enjoy watching the bands perform as much as they’ll enjoy showing off the fruits of their labour!
During their time at Rock and Roll Recruits, budding musicians will learn how to work alongside one another within a group situation. The songs help them in both confidence and technical ability.
