29 weeks with first baby. Thank you very much for all of your advice I’m taking notes.
This was so helpful — as a new mom, it’s crazy how much you have to learn all at once! I’ve watched this twice already Something else that’s really helped me behind the scenes (especially with managing the stress and all the “am I doing this right?” moments) is a book called Surviving Baby Boot Camp by A.K. Grace. It’s been a lifesaver for my sanity — super honest and encouraging. Definitely recommend it to any new moms out there!
I’m bout to have my first. Just trying to do my research
6 day old at home & 6 days straight w little to no sleep ❤
Mega cringe calling it just Baby it grinds my gears
For a month old should we exercise their bodies
5:25 meanwhile I hated sleeping on my back as a newborn, I was able to turn on my side at 5 days old. Even now 26 years later I still cannot sleep on my back.
I have three girls expecting another girl July 10th 🎉
Why am I watching this video I’m 13 and have no babys in my life
Welcome to VIP famous clubs
I think they need to change the timeline for car seats. We're just producing more waste for our planet for carseats that are likely perfectly fine to still use. Its not like theyre are new must needed features that keep getting upgraded. Theyre the same damn carseats lol. If there was a safety thing with the plastic, one would obviously be able to tell of discoloration or brittleness. Or maybe we should come up with a more permanent solution and stop making them out of plastic! Like sure theyd be more expensive being made out of a metal, but they could be used for far longer, and be repaired when needed.
My baby is 3 months this sleep 8 30
E❤❤
Thank you so much for this amazing video! My wife is has just gone 20 weeks pregnant and this video has really brought a lot of clarity to this first period of the baby's life!
Second time dad- watching this as a little “newborn refresher” you two are awesome people. Lots of appreciation and love coming to you from Charlotte Nc
Thank you this video was very helpful
Did she serious imply you can’t hold here baby unless you have the Covid shot 😂😂
Hi
How are you
My baby girl born 20 October 2025 head size is 32 Inches but the normal size of every baby like girl or boy is 35
I mean 32 size means serious problem or a normal?
Kindly talk about my baby because i am very upset and depressed.
Thanks
I'm gonna be helping my family friend who works from hime, watching the baby for a bit so she can work a bit better, the baby is a 1-2 month old and i dont have experience with babies yet, I know how to hold one and baby first aid and cpr but thats kinda it. ANY tips would be amazing
More like if you got the vaccine plz stay away
Um, maybe don’t circumcise babies? Just maybe….,
What about lack of poop? Day four and five no poop, do Teo days with no poop, but it looked normal on days 1-3

I love that she is assuming the role of the inquiring person — I’m sure she is aware of all these details, but her asking the questions I’m wondering behind the screen is super helpful. Great video!
For the car seat, you can also go to your local fire department to get it checked or installed beforehand. Also, there shouldn’t be anything in the back seat because it can quickly become an object that flies and hurts the baby.
Second pregnancy my first is almost 2, I forgot all the newborn care basics even if I had one before 😭😭😭 thank you for these videos guys! It really helps my confidence, I recommend tour channel to every mom I know!
I followed your sleep training video exactly to the T and just want to say thank you both! He was almost 5 months old at the time and will be 9 months soon!
Just FYI, most of the things you guys said about car seats were right, but a few things weren’t:
– you said to ask at the hospital and a staff will come down to check if your car seat is installed correctly. This is only correct if a certified CPST is actually on staff and available to do the check. Many hospitals do not have one on staff at all.
– you said to “make sure the shoulders are at the lowest setting”. This is worded wrong. For car seats that are rear facing, shoulder straps should be at the setting that is at or just below the shoulder.
– you show a vertical pinch at the chest when talking about strap tightness. It should be that you can’t pinch a vertical fold at the collar bone.
– and hand-me-down seats are a worry because you don’t know if they have been in a crash, or used wrong by the previous owner, which could compromise their safety, not because they expire. All seats have expiry dates, so I wouldn’t want someone to have a false sense of security if they found a seat second hand, and thought it was safe, just because it wasn’t expired.
Best place to go for car seat help/advice, is a certified CPST

The best advice I can give to new parents, is that even these two people, could still be bad parents. (I don't believe they are in they slightest, the contrary in fact) but I say this to say that it really doesn't matter how much you know, you can still do it wrong but as long as you are doing what you know to do and listening to the experts, your baby will survive. But it's the love in that nurture that allows babies to thrive. Don’t stress out if you're doing things wrong, just keep your heart where it needs to be and you and your new baby will be just fine.
I'm eight weeks pregnant right now with my first. I grew up as the third of eleven kids, so I feel like I have a pretty good grasp on taking care of babies, but I still learned and was reminded of things that will be very helpful in this video, so thank you! I'm looking forward to holding my baby in my arms and getting to meet him/her!
My baby is one month old and I am OBGYN resident and still learning new things everyday I really appreciate the way you shared your experience it’s very informative thank you
Just in case anyone is worried about this: your doctor will not take away your baby if you tell them you might have post partum depression. You calling and asking for help is a sign you are a good mother, because taking care of mom = taking care of baby. Your doctors won't judge you, they will be happy they can help you.
You people are gorgeous
Do you boil the bottle every time you use it?
