Am I the only one lost on how your kid can actually get nutrition if they’re a pick eater? Seems like I’m summary: don’t pressure them, expose it to them even if they don’t have it, dont hide it in food and don’t only serve them their favorite food. How do we get them to actually eat? 😂 so lost here
I highly recommend Planet Ayurveda’s Arvindasava for anyone focusing on their general health maintenance. A very positive experience!
This is all easier said than done. Applying this advice is where we can see if it actually does anything.
Have a 2 and 1/2-year-old that won't sleep in their bed but they will get into it but they would rather sleep with me and I like them to sleep in their own bed all night
Give them meat and they never say no, feed them fake food and you have a wild animal.
Yup I made some mistakes 🙁 ….
Trying to follow this advice and my 20 mo has not eaten anything for 3 days. She is just asking for cow milk at odd hours. What do I do? She is used to listening to on demand music while eating. Very worried she already looks thinner
Dairy comes from a cow and cows. Milk is for cows.
Modern mums fighting their guilt by overfeeding toddlers.
It’s pretty much common sense, that people somehow forget. Treat your kid like how you want to be treated. Don’t trick them. Don’t diddle them. Don’t force them.
My kids liked meat patties (rissoles) but went through a stage when they wouldn't eat a variety of vegetables.
I always made my own rissoles so grated up all the vegetables and put it in the mixer with the meat and seasonings. They turned out so green I had to coat them in flour and fry them but they were so tender and juicy they loved them
I think I made all the mistakes. 🙁 my child is such a picky eater and is underweight. I dont know what to do anymore. She only wants milk all day long
❤❤❤❤
I am guilty with the screen one 😢😂 Lawd ..it makes my life so easy ….My child is a picky eater he hates food
I don't know if any of this is supposed to apply to a 10 month old, but I feel like this is incompatible with the advice to expose him to enough allergens like egg and peanutbutter. How many weeks can we afford to just skip out on that stuff and other solid foods just because apparently he doesn't want any more after half a bite? An education plate is mostly going to be on the floor if it's up to him.
I still feed my 15 month old with spoon myself because his weight is on lower side of the growth chart. How to introduce self feeding and will it lead to weight gain? He needs to be distracted to even feed him one morsel of food otherwise he spits out everything
My daughter is 2.2years and has 3 bottles milk a day 120ml each time out of which early morning bottle has pediasure in it.She is extremely picky. Can I cut down on 1 bottle of milk ?
My daughter is almost 9 months old and I make sure I don’t pressure her to eat anything, I always have different options at the ready (ie i have a applesauce if she’s not digging her broccoli or I have plain toast if she’s not digging her peanut butter toast). If it’s not a purée I put the food in front of her for her to inspect and if she drops it I try again, if she drops it or pushes it away again I quit and maybe try something else or just stop offering solids for the meal. She has tried and liked almost everything she has eaten.
My kid is almost 8 years old. She is not picky eater but a slow eater. She usually takes about an hour to finish her meal. Any tips for me? Thanks in advance.
Is it wrong if I let my 11.5 month old play with fidget spinner etc or random objects just so I can feed him some more?
What do you recommend for getting a child to eat that first bite of something new, or vegetables?
Hi, Can you guide for 5 years old kid who eat very less .
Thank you for this! I've been doing it wrong this whole time 🙁
I was very lucky as a child to grow up in the fifties with two unusual parents. Both parents worked professionally outside the home, shared the child rearing and COOKING! To come home from school and ask our dad or mom whoever was prepping food for dinner what we could have for a snack we were elated to have raw slices of turnip with a little salt or some raw carrots or apple slices. And then we were sent OUTDOORS to play until called for dinner. And as soon as we were old enough we helped with the meal prep.
Sometimes a child might relate more with a certain person in their environment too. One day it might for that moment be a dad, or a sibling or a grandparent and not the one who usually feeds them.
I wish this video would be in Bangali language so my mother can listen and learn. a constant argument with my mom when it comes to my son's meal
My parents would force us eat our whole meal but we could leave behind one bite in order to leave the table. As an adult I almost always leave behind one bite 🤣 drives my husband nuts. My sister does it too
An alternate title for this video could be: helping your child be a mindful eater
You basically told my entire childhood 😂
My little one is 7 months and refuses food
Is this normal? Can she only live on milk at this point
