My mom told me that they PACKED HER WITH COTTON!! Then they had to take it out the next day & some had dried into some of the blood & stuck. So uncomfortable! I think that dr just did it as a standard procedure back then as the nurses complained that he always packed in too much.

Mainly because of my own mom, and some self evaluation. I think my mom did an AMAZING job raising me and my sister. So if I'm ready or anything, I can follow in my mom's footsteps, my sister's too. I am a proud aunt of two sweet nephews.

I went through one of the toughest times in my life—losing my baby just six days after birth, and soon after, my husband left. I had to face everything on my own. But I refused to give up. While trying to rebuild my life, find a new job, and climb out of debt, I came across an incredible woman online—Helen Zvart Froyan. I truly believe she was a divine connection. We connected, became friends, and eventually business partners. With her support, I regained my footing, cleared all my debts, and now, just 8 months later, I’m expecting a new miracle. I give all glory to God and thank Him for using people like Helen to bring hope and healing. 🙏

It’s okay to have a healthy baby and still struggle with PP and discuss that; I don’t agree with guilting moms that talk about their struggles because they did not experience a devastating situation.🫶🏼

How can you say that babies cry and it's ok and then immediately say that you don't know why they're crying? I mean either you know why they're crying and that's why you're saying that it's ok. Otherwise why are you saying anything at all? Maybe they're crying because they are emotional and they want to pick them up or something. I don't know, but unless you know something don't say stuff just to be said. It's bad for your rep. In my opinion.

the best advice I've gotten so far in my pregnancy is that you're taking 9 months to grow a baby, give yourself and your body at least 9 months to heal and go back to "normal" after birth

I already can't enjoy eating and food as much as I want to due to allergies and gut sensitivities, being pregnant made it SO much worse. I'm having a bit of a reprieve in my 2nd tri right now, but I know it's going to be murder come the third trimester. I'm considering going to a dietician because my oral allergies are cutting into my consumption of healthy foods like veggies and fruit, and I can't seem to get a handle on how to adjust my diet to my new needs as WELL as everything I was already dealing with. It's been a nightmare lemme just say. Can't wait to meet baby boy though!

It’s tripping me out that a woman could get pregnant and give birth and still not know that a baby comes form the uterus, not the stomac. Also no one should push on your abdomen post birth, only gently to make sure the uterus is contracted but you can do that yourself with 2 minutes of resurch, it should feel like a grapefruit essentials, not squishy or boggy

Pro tip to keep anything small from getting lost in the laundry: delicate bags (mesh bags to protect delicate laundry items when they get washed). They're perfect for keeping track of baby socks, mittens, slippers, headbands, and other small items! (They're also great for keeping pairs of socks together. 🙂)

For those saying you smell worse 😂I think it’s just hormones and the fact that your sense of smell is heightened to make sure you’re not feeding yourself or the baby bad things. 😅 it also helps to keep the baby clean as you can smell right away the need of a diaper change 😂 it will progressively decrease.

Swaddling your baby is the best. You don’t need much clothing. “Happiest baby on the block” book highly recommends this. We did this for our first child and it was great

    Fetal and maternal
Medicine in the USA 🇺🇸 is THe worst in the entire industrial world. Doctors care about their liability rather than doing what is best for the baby and mommy. Next birth I’m having baby at home. First birth was at a birth center and I had a great experience
