My baby always wants to be carried and fed while sleeping. Without with she doesn’t sleep at all and it’s painful to hold her all the time and feed or put her to sleep

People don't generally have to be able to nap anywhere like babies do. That's why people say make sure they can sleep in a noisy room.

I don't agree with swaddling babies with arms tied down like that because it makes them so stiff that they can't move, that's uncomfortable

My baby feeds for 45 mins to an hour on each side so it’s impossible for me to only have her up for 45 mins. We’re up for an average of 2 hours to 2 1/2

I’m pretty lucky , all my kids (3) 3rd one now 8 weeks old were/are good newborn sleepers. Never had an issue. It’s when they turn around 9 months for me that they were a little more extra lol

Thank you so much for saying "mum's and dad's" in your videos. We've seen so many that assume only the mum is interested in learning about their baby but, as a newborn dad myself, I'm absorbing as much advice as I can get ☺️

My newborn suckles their fingers when they're hungry and seems to like to sleep with his hands up. Should I start swaddling them with their arms down?

Will you recommend waking a two months old baby up for a feed every 3-4 hours during the night if she is fast asleep? I heard so many different opinions, so confusing.

120 mins max awake time? What do you mean? 😮 Whenever I put my newborn into her bed she screams bloody murder. She only ever falls asleep with my boob in her mouth and stops sleeping as soon as I put her anywhere else. Are you telling me not all babies are like this? 🥲🥹

Hi, even the doctor in the hospital told me in reality parents sleep with their baby in their chest. what do you think about this? Should the parent lay complete flat or with an angle? Thanks

My two week hold wakes up around 1am and is up for at least 6 hours and wont sleep till around 7am. We have a dark room. Make sure nappy is clean and she is fed but she will just not sleep at all during the night. Im hoping this is just a phase i cant understand how she isnt tired after being awake for so long

@EmmaHubbard, thank you for the great videos.
I am hoping you can clarify one thing regarding tip 1; should my baby be awake when I put him down to go to sleep/take a nap or should he be in light sleep or deep sleep already? Currently I’m struggling at night where I have to hold him for him to sleep. As soon as I set him in his bassinet, he wakes and cries shortly thereafter.
    Thanks for any insight.

Does anybody have any recommendations for a good swaddle for a new born? I’ve been looking online but all I can find is a very thin material, I need a thicker type of swaddle!

Thank you for this video. I am just a bit confused about the 'not letting baby sleep in your arms' bit. I read many times that letting your baby sleep on you during the day is good for their development, the attachment and comfort of the baby (since they're so used to being close to you in the womb). I'm curious to anyone's thoughts on this.
