Hi Emma, any advice for 19 month toddlers who use to swallow when first starting solids but, now gags and spits out the same foods they used to swallow? My toddler will be 2 in November and I'm imperative on reaching this goal but still being patient & realistic.
What if he just doesnt eat it. And when he does put it in his month he gags

I'm confused, the start of the video was about letting baby just baby with the food, but then the video starts talking about how to feed the baby with a spoon.
My baby closes her mouth and turns her head away when I try to spoon feed her, and doesn't bring her hands to her mouth at all when playing with food on her own.
I've tried feeding at different times, after a sleep, not too close to breastfeeding, when baby is happy etc. But nothing works after two months, if I do get any food in her mouth she starts crying hysterically

My daughters doctor told me to wait until she’s 12 months to actually feed her anything other then her milk, now trying real food she just won’t eat it and screams and cry’s when I try… I don’t know what to do.. every time I come at her with a spoon it’s the end of the world for her

ok now I have a follow up question. my baby is 9 months and pushes food away anytime I bring the spoon to his face.he will literally push my hand away or turn his face and pucker his lips. what do I do at that point

My baby won’t eat unless the tv is playing something they like. They used to really enjoy eating food and be open to trying stuff, now they don’t at all and only want to breastfeed at 14 months. I don’t know what to do anymore after offering a variety of food. It’s stressful to even try go out and do anything knowing they haven’t eaten anything

My baby is 15 months old and all he dies is breast feed . Doesnt even open his mouth to eat.and just simply nods no whenever i offer food. But whenever given snacks thats are packed he eats them at once….i dont give him any such snacks but whenever given any one he eats them not the food what do i do

My daughter is 13 months and doesn’t want anything to do with solid food. She’ll only eat purée baby food. My son was not like that. He would at least try the food and show interest. If he didn’t like it he would jus spit it out. But my daughter doesn’t even try. She’ll scream and cry. 😢 this is so stressful.
