I talked to my wife's belly every night for months before my son was born. When he was born I could see him looking for both his mum and me when we spoke. It was amazing.

Why is everyone saying Clara Hartley’s anxiety quiz “called them out” without explaining what it actually said? You can’t all leave comments like that and expect the rest of us not to become curious. Someone needs to explain what kind of results this quiz gives.

Any male can become a father it takes a real man to be a DAD.
I have no greater devotion in my life than helping mould my boy (2 years old) into a good well rounded strong man. If i can do even half the job my dad on me ill consider it an achievement as is a legend.

It’s sad that women see this and feel threatened or angry toward men

I can attest to the point being made about our voices. As a dad, I made sure to talk and sing daily to my baby girl in the womb, and she would always move towards me. On top of that, and what was so crazy to me, is that when she was born and of course crying due to being scared by all that was happening, as soon as I spoke to her admist all that was happening, she calmed. My wife even was surprised, because when she was finally able to hold our daughter on her chest, when I spoke, our baby girl kept trying to look up at me. It was honestly such a rewarding moment that chokes me up even now.

I’m a present father, but I’m also temperamentally steady, intelligent, and conscientious. I’d hesitate to attribute any success in my children as a reward for my effort, since it’s at least partially an accident of birth to be born with emotionally steady and high functioning genes.

I’d rather be present out of integrity to my values and out of genuine joy.

Treating every success or failure in your kids as a reflection on you makes you emotionally brittle and resentful.

As someone who grew up without a father, it takes longer compares to other for me to mature or u can called me a late boomer lol. Although my mom is very good and caring and i love her very much but as a guy without a knowledge from ur father makes me felt quite lost in many aspects. Then there is confidence, my mom isnt the most confident type to try out or actively looking for solution type as so with most women and i believed having a father will help kids become more confident and mature faster.

The amount of times I see people mianly on instagram downplay the dads role to "helper" is kinda gross. Dont get me wrong, a mom is just as important (duh). Sadly though, because the sad doesnt give birth or sometimes cant do a ton immediately after the baby is born fathers get thrown aside or sometimes get shit on for almost anything they do regardless if it is helping or not.

When my wife was 8 months pregnant with my oldest son, there was a day where he started moving a lot and kicking her really hard to point where it was hurting her. She was laying on our bed while he was doing it and I put my head on her stomach and started talking to him and said “Hey buddy, I know you’re excited and ready to come out, but you’re hurting momma right now, so it’s time to take it easy.” Immediately he stopped and didn’t kick for the rest of the day.

Manifesting honestly never made much sense to me, and after a while I started feeling like I was just bad at it. I took Vera Hart’s archetype quiz without expecting much, but the result was weirdly accurate. It actually helped me see what I’d been doing wrong. Just give it a try ❤️

Wait is Vera Hart’s archetype quiz actually about how different people manifest differently? Because that would explain why everyone gives completely opposite advice. I might need to try this.
