Bare la Terre: skincare for the in-betweens
If your tween has started eyeing up your bathroom shelf, or asking for the viral serums they’ve seen online, Bare la Terre is the brand to know. Created by two mums, their tweens and consultant dermatologist Dr Mariana Noy, it keeps skincare simple for Gen Alpha: wash your face when it’s dirty, moisturise when it’s dry, protect it from the wind and sun, and respect the planet.
Every product uses clean, age-appropriate ingredients, so parents can say yes with confidence. And thanks to the brand’s Creative Council of tween advisors, it’s kid-certified too, with colours, textures, scents and branding all co-created for them, by them.
The packaging is a final standout. Bare la Terre is the first tween skincare brand using Vivomer, a fully home-compostable material, for its moisturiser and lip rescue.
Safe, sustainable and age-appropriate, it makes a brilliant stocking filler or first skincare kit for the tween in your life. Prices start from £14.99.

You can now have your very own Yoshi friend with this Nintendo The Super Mario Galaxy Movie: Hatchin’ Yoshi Interactive Toy! Interact with him for fun games, reactions and sounds. Gently pat his head or touch his nose to play with Yoshi. Have a conversation with Yoshi by pushing down on his shell, then speak to him and watch him talk back.
First, make sure to pull the egg out of the box with the tabs attached and remove them when you are ready to watch him hatch. Start by tapping the egg, knocking on it and rocking it back and forth. Once Yoshi is ready, you’ll start to see the egg rock side to side on its own. Listen closely for any noises and watch as the egg cracks and Yoshi pops out. Peel apart the Yoshi egg pieces to remove Yoshi from his shell. Once he’s out of his egg, you can save the bottom piece to display and play with Yoshi.
